On Sept. 27, Bloomington, Indiana, violinist Joshua Bell performs on a 300-year-old Stradivarius, which he purchased in 2001. The instrument was stolen in 1936 and disappeared for 50 years. Because of the value of these rare violins, they often are stolen and never recovered. NPR recently shared the story of a stolen instrument that was found after more than three decades.

After being discovered on “Shark Tank,” Tom + Chee recently opened at 2121 N. Green River Road and has more than 30 locations throughout the country and 170 more in various stages of development. The ABC show has produced several success stories, including Scrub Daddy, which has more than $50 million in sales, according to Business Insider.

For the 94th consecutive year, the West Side Nut Club will hold its annual Fall Festival Oct. 5-10 on Franklin Street. The Indianapolis Star recently shared a list of street festivals to experience in Indianapolis this fall.
