Kristen K. Tucker Editor & Publisher
Kristen K. Tucker formed Tucker Publishing Group along with her husband, Todd, in September 1999 and published the first issue of Evansville Living in March 2000.
Kristen, publisher and editor of Evansville Living, has more than 30 years experience in journalism, public relations, and marketing. She holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and English from Western Kentucky University and a master's degree in liberal studies from the University of Southern Indiana.
Kristen serves on the board of directors of the The Catholic Foundation of Evansville, the Board of Advisors for the IU Medical School Evansville, and is a member of Indiana Landmarks Alumnae Braintrust organization. In 2007, she helped to found the Women’s Fund of Vanderburgh County. She also is a member of the 114 year-old Social Literary Club. Kristen is the 2003 Athena Award recipient and the 2006 recipient of the Indiana Commission for Women’s Torchbearer Award. Tucker Publishing Group magazines have won dozens of awards through the years from the City & Regional Magazine Association, the Advertising Federation of Evansville, the Evansville Design Group, and the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists.
A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Kristen moved with her family to Evansville, her father’s hometown, in 1971. She attended Caze Elementary School, and Castle Jr and Castle Sr. High Schools in Newburgh, Indiana. Kristen and Todd have two children, Maxwell, 18, and Jackson, 15. Kristen enjoys walking, working out, travel, hot yoga, and reading.
Todd A. Tucker President
Todd A. Tucker formed Tucker Publishing Group with his wife, Kristen Tucker, when he left his career in surgical sales to help with Evansville Living's rapid growth. Todd, president of Tucker Publishing Group, has 15 years experience in medical capital equipment and surgical support sales.
He received his bachelor of science in liberal studies from the University of Evansville, as well as a master's of science in management from Oakland City University. He has also attended classes at Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Todd has served on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Youth First, University of Southern Indiana School of Business, and the Economic Development Coalition of Southwestern Indiana and is past chairman of the board of Keep Evansville Beautiful. He is also active in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations. Todd is a weekly contributor on Local 7 and a regular guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at the University of Evansville. He was elected to the national board of directors for the City and Regional Magazine Association in 2008. Todd is also a board member of Southwest Indiana Landmarks and is on the Holy Rosary School Board.
Todd and his wife, Kristen, live in Evansville and have two young children, Maxwell, born in 1998, and Jackson, born in 2001. Todd is an avid triathlete who has completed 13 marathons and numerous triathlons as well as three Ironman events, including Ironman Louisville in August 2007.
He has a tremendous passion for bad drumming and continues to coach more youth sports teams than he can count. He and his family are members of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Heather Gray Creative Director
Heather Gray joined Tucker Publishing Group in November 2009 as art director. She was promoted to creative director in September 2014. She previously served as the director of Web design at Media Mix Communications for nearly 10 years. She received her bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from the University of Evansville in 1999.
At Tucker Publishing Group, Heather is involved in every facet of design, including conceptualization and layout for all publications. She also is responsible for custom publishing projects, social media, proofreading, photography, and Web development.
Heather resides in her hometown of Poseyville, Ind., with her husband Jason and their
four five pets. A self-proclaimed geek, she has a knack for tinkering with computers and enjoys video games, anime, and science fiction movies. In her spare time, Heather loves beachcombing, collecting vintage goods, eating junk food, reading, traveling, and exploring on her pink bike.
Zach Wehner Senior Graphic Designer
Zach Wehner joined Tucker Publishing Group in August 2015 as graphic designer. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor's degree in art and an emphasis in graphic design in May 2015.
As a student at USI and during the summer subsequent to graduating, Zach completed an internship with Tucker Publishing Group. At this time, Zach also worked as a freelance graphic designer creating flyers, books, T-shirt designs, and logos for local businesses in Evansville.
Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, Zach graduated from Evansville Central High School and has been a proud North Sider his whole life. He loves spending his time traveling and camping with his girlfriend, going to sporting events, writing music on the guitar, passionately following the NBA, and working out.
Amanda Redenbaugh Graphic Designer
Amanda Redenbaugh joined Tucker Publishing Group in April 2016 as a graphic designer. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor's degree in art and an emphasis in graphic design in May 2007.
Prior to graduation, Amanda worked at Warrick Publishing in Boonville, Indiana, where she managed the production department and was responsible for magazine and newspaper photography, logo and image design, page layout, and media design.
Amanda was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and later lived in LaPorte, Indiana. A resident of Evansville today, she has a passion for being creative in both her personal and professional lives. She loves the Green Bay Packers, Zumba, running, hanging out with friends and family, fashion, and spending time with her husband Sean.
Zach Straw Photographer/Graphic Designer
Zach Straw joined Tucker Publishing Group in December 2016 as a photographer and graphic designer. He was previously a graphic designer and then general manager at The Posey County News in New Harmony, Indiana, for nearly 10 years.
Zach earned his associate's degree in multimedia from ITT Technical Institute, Newburgh Campus in 2005. Prior to being hired at Tucker Publishing Group, he freelanced for many local companies and individuals, including Evansville Living and Evansville Business magazines. Zach also stays busy taking wedding photography and family portraits for clients throughout the area.
Zach lives in Mount Vernon, Indiana, with his wife and two children. He enjoys traveling throughout the Midwest, bicycling, swimming, theme parks, and fine art photography (of course!)
Trista Lutgring Managing Editor
Trista Lutgring joined Tucker Publishing Group in March 2015 as a staff writer. She was promoted to managing editor in February 2017. She was previously an account representative at The Perry County News in Tell City, Indiana, for one year. She also served as a feature writer at The Perry County News for four years.
Trista earned her bachelor's degree in News Editorial Journalism from Western Kentucky University in 2008. Prior to graduation, she worked on several student online magazines. From 2009 to 2013, Trista was the soccer editor for Aerys Sports, a sports blog written and started by women sports fans and writers. She also has worked as a freelancer for SBNation's Dynamo Theory blog, covering the Houston Dash, a National Women's Soccer League team.
Trista lives in Evansville with her spoiled rescued cat, Nova. She was born and raised in the country just outside of Tell City, Indiana, where her parents still reside. In her spare time, she enjoys writing on personal projects, following Major League Soccer and the U.S. Men's National soccer team, and is a social media junkie. She is also obsessed with Jane Austen novels. She loves to dance (even though she might not be very good at it) and enjoys attending Zumba classes whenever she can.
Jessica L. Hoffman Account Executive
Jessica L. Hoffman joined Tucker Publishing Group in December 2001 as advertising coordinator after receiving her bachelor's degree in advertising from the University of Southern Indiana. She now serves as account executive.
Prior to graduation, Jessica completed an internship with Tucker Publishing Group, as well as advertising internships with SMG Evansville and WNIN Channel 9.
Jessica grew up in Cynthiana, Ind., and graduated from North Posey High School. She is a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Jessica enjoys running 5Ks, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband Jason and her golden retriever/chow mix, Lily.
Jennifer Rhoades Account Executive
Jennifer Rhoades joined Tucker Publishing Group in December 2002 as an advertising coordinator. She was promoted to marketing manager in 2005 and became an account executive in May 2010.
Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Southern Indiana. She is involved in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program as a big sister.
Jennifer grew up in Cynthiana, Ind. She married John Rhoades, of Evansville, in September 2003, and they reside in Newburgh. They welcomed their daughter, Hayden, on August 14, 2007. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
Jordan Evans Marketing and Circulation Coordinator
Jordan Evans joined Tucker Publishing Group in January 2016 as Marketing and Circulation Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelors degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies in May 2015.
After graduating from USI, Jordan interned with Tucker Publishing Group before accepting a full-time position.
Jordan grew up in Southern Illinois and currently lives in New Haven, IL. She owns two dogs and one cat. She likes to spend time organizing. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, reading, watching television, writing and painting.
