The ladies of Zeta Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host a "Walk in My Shoes: Mental Health Awareness Event" on Saturday, April 9 at Bayard Park. The event is free of charge and open to the public. It will include a symbolic walk, information from mental health professionals, distribution of materials listing local mental health resources, and a poignant "release" ceremony symbolizing the release of the stigma associated with mental health.
