St. Mary’s Health will present a free screening of the PBS Frontline film, "Being Mortal," about advance care planning — instructions about the kind of care you or a loved one wishes to receive in the event of incapacitation while hospitalized. A panel discussion consisting of a physician, chaplain, nurse educator, and palliative care nurse will be held following the program.
The documentary will be shown at four Tri-State locations: St. Mary’s Warrick Hospital — Phillips Room from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 20; Ohio Township Public Library from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25; University of Southern Indiana’s Carter Hall from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 3; and Evansville Public Library — North Park Branch from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8.
