In the fight to raise awareness about men’s health and prostate cancer, Vantage Oncology and Therapy Associates are sponsoring the second annual Blue Ribbon River Run in Downtown Newburgh. The race will start with a special Prostate Cancer Survivor’s Breakfast and Procession followed by a one-mile walk and four-mile walk/run. If you would like to form a team, please contact team chair Ann Green at 812-449-5697. Early packet pick up is Friday, June 6, 4-7 p.m. at Old Lock & Dam in Newburgh, Ind. Prostate cancer survivors participate free and are invited to attend a special Survivor’s Breakfast/Procession & BBQ Luncheon. A $20 donation will get you registered for the race and includes a race T-shirt. Proceeds from BRRR will benefit three local cancer related not-for-profits, including Gilda’s Club Evansville, TOUCH, and Cancer Care Options, Inc. Race starts at 9 a.m.
