Newburgh will carry a British theme Sept. 19 kicking off with the Traditional English Boot Sale at the Downtown Newburgh Farmers Market. Esstenially a yard sale out of the back of a car, this British tradition will take place at the Town Hall Parking Lot.
All day long, Newburgh will host the Sir Brit British Car Show. It will be held all day at the Old Lock and Dam Park. Registration for British made autos is $12. The show will open at 9 a.m. and awards will be given at 3:30 p.m. There also will be door prizes throughout the day, concessions available, and free bus rides to downtown Newburgh shopping and dining. Finally, wrapping up the night, the Free Family Move Night will show "Paddington." Those attending can bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a movie by the Gene Aurand Trail Head. The movie will begin at dark.
