The New Harmony Music Festival & School will kick off its 5th concert season with an intimate and joyous celebration of mountain music and dance along with lyric readings of seasonal poems, quotations, and scared passages, iin the 1850s-era Historic Thrall’s Opera House in New Harmony. The shows, a matinee and an evening perofrmance, will be co-hosted by two popular voices well-known to public radio listeners across Indiana; Cass Herrington, formerly of WNIN Public Radio and Greg Kostraba of WBAA of Purdue University Public Radio will read from Dylan Thomas, Robert Bly, and Charles Dickens among others. The evening performance will be broadcasted live on WNIN Public Radio and to stations across the Indiana Public Broadcasting Network.
The matinee showing will be at 1 p.m. and the evening show and radio broadcast will be at 7:30 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before each performance.
