The University of Evansville College of Engineering and Computer Science presents Engineering Options for Middle School Girls June 19 through June 22.
Middle school girls currently in grades 6, 7, and 8 are invited to attend. This career exploration program is a three and a half day residential opportunity where college-aged women studying in the fields of engineering counsel middle school girls interested in the field. Classes culminate in hands-on projects, field trips offer a look at engineering careers in action, and participants completing the program are eligible to receive a $100 scholarship toward future attendance in the Engineering Options for High School Girls program.
Cost, which is all inclusive, is $300 per participant. For more information and to obtain an application, call or email email@example.com.
