The Evansville Police Department Foundation and the EPD SWAT team are joining up to host a SWAT Challenge in Downtown Evansville. The event is a 5K run with various challenge obstacles throughout the course. Proceeds from the event will go to the EPD Foundation, which awards financial grants to EPD for specialized equipment, education, collaborative community programs, and for the support of its personnel.
