Evansville African American Museum’s 13th annual Gala will be held Oct. 9 from 6 p.m to 10 p.m. at the Tropicana Riverfront Event Center. This year will take a historical glimpse at the social, intellectrual, and artistic explosion in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the 1920s and 1930s. This is a formal event featuring a fantastic soul food buffet, silent auction, Black Wall Street video presentation, dinner, and dancing with live band Factor Primo. 1930s attire is welcomed and encouraged.
