In commemoration of the University of Southern Indiana’s 50th anniversary, the Evansville Philharmonic welcomes back Indiana’s own Joshua Bell for the 2015/16 season’s opening night. Bell is a Grammy-winning talent, whose passion and multi-faceted musical interests have earned him the rare title of "classical music superstar." 

This concert also features two great orchestral works — Beethoven’s "Eroica" Symphony No. 3 and the Brahms "Academic Festival Overture," in tribute to USI.
