The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science and the Begley Museum Shop present the quarterly First Thursday series. First Thursdays are a meet-and-greet with an artist during Happy Hour with a cash bar available. Artwork will be on display and for sale in the Eykamp Pavilion. Carlisle creates a still-moment in his narrative art by juxtaposing recognizable elements while, at the same time, using minimal, sometimes flat color for background.
