More than 5,000 students from 50 schools throughout the Tri-State area will attend the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra’s Helen M. McKinney Young People’s Concerts. This year’s theme is “The Thrill of the Orchestra” and will feature a showcase composition introducing students to the different instruments of the orchestra. Under the baton of Maestro Alfred Savia, the orchestra will present two performances at 9 and 10:45 a.m. on March 15 and 16.
