The Historic Newburgh Community Theatre is proud to present "Murder at the Orient Express." The show will be held Friday, Oct 3. and Saturday, Oct 4. at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 5. at 2 p.m.
This very funny movie is a spoof on the well-known Agatha Christie movie of a similar name. The setting is in the dining room of the Orient Express Restaurant owned by Irish sisters Mary and Molly McGregor assisted by their German waitress Frau Beethoven. The victim is Seymour Twitt, a wealthy industrialist who hires Dudley Sharp, ace private eye to find out who has been sending him threatening letters.
Tickets are $15 each, and are available at the Historic Newburgh, Inc. office at 517 W. Main St. or by phone. Ticket holders may show their tickets at Café Arazu, Cleo’s Brown Bag & Bakery, Edgewater Grille, Knob Hill, Tin Fish, or Golden Buddha Sept. 27 – Oct. 12 and receive a 15 percent discount on their food purchases.
