Please join us on September 19, 2014 at the Evansville Country Club for an evening christened the “Jewel of the City” Ball featuring the rarely seen Reitz Chalice displayed in its splendor! Throughout the years, jewelry acquired by the Reitz family was used to create and embellish a gold Chalice designed by David M. Cohn, one the original founders of Kruckemeyer & Cohn. The Chalice, one of the many Reitz families lasting legacies, is studded with 507 diamonds, 15 rubies, seven sapphires, several emeralds and pearls. At the base of the Chalice are one inch gold engraved medallions which depict the five sorrowful mysteries of the rosary. This evening of Victorian elegance will consist of an opportunity to view the Chalice, a gourmet meal, a live and silent auction, plus live entertainment and more! Tickets are $135/individual or $1,500 for a Corporate Sponsored table (includes program guide recognition).
