The public is invited to join the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture and The Lyles Station Historic Preservation Corporation for a reception in celebration of the Lyles COmmunity and its deep connection to the land.
The reception will include the placement of a vessel of soil form the Greer family farm in the school, a meet-and-greet with historian Anna-Lisa Cox and representatives of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Clutre, as well as tours of the school and museum.
