During the 15 week course, students will learn about basic plant and soil science; pest diagnosis and control; plant nutrition; and how to grow and maintain vegetable and flower gardens, fruit plantings, lawns, and woody plants. After completing the semester and passing the final exam, students will be invited to join the Southwestern Indiana Master Gardener Association.

The classes will be from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday evenings and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Friday mornings. The cost of the course is $125 per person.
