This event is hosted by the 1st Battalion, 163rd Field Artillery Unit — the Redhawks. Chose from a 5K run, a 5K competitive walk, or a one-mile family walk all starting at 9 a.m. There will also be free kids dash. The morning will start with a Memorial Day service, then a gun salute.

The 1-163D Field Artillery Battalion will hold an open house as well. All net proceeds of this event will go to the Indiana National Guard Family Readiness Program. There will be overall and age group awards as well as T-shirts for all paid participants.
