Indiana Landmarks is hosting Reviving Baptisttown, a workshop and tour examining the area’s heritage and how harnessing history can help revive African American places across the state.
An evening reception will take place on Friday, Aug. 18 at the Evansville African American Museum, and talks by experts on cultural preservation will take place at Lincoln High School on Saturday, Aug. 19. The cost is $50 per person or $35 for members of Indiana Landmarks.
