St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish grounds will host the annual Summerfest in Newburgh from June 16 to June 18. Smoked pork chop dinners are on the Thursday menu, and fried chicken and dumpling dinners are featured on Friday and Saturday nights, served with green beans, corn, potatoes and gravy, bred, cake, beverage, and more side choices between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
The event also includes food booths, snack and ice cream booths, Sweets and Treasures specialty basket booth, game booths, rides, a cash raffle, quilt raffle, entertainment (including The Rodenberg Boys, Fire N Ice, and The Unusual Suspects), and a beer garden.
