St. Wendel’s annual social is set for Sept. 10 and 11, with grounds opening at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Saturday night, grilled pork chop dinners are on the menu from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday features fried chicken dinners with dessert from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Carry out is available both days.

The social also includes inflatables, a grand raffle, a paddle wheel, pull tabs, bingo, Baskets of Plenty, a Luck of the Draw, a Family Fantasy booth, quilts, book resale, dunking booth, children’s games, a kiddie tractor pull Sunday, and more.
