Everett “Sonny” Brown, photographer with the Evansville Courier newspaper from the 1950s through the 1980s, donated many personal and professional negatives to the USI Rice Library Archives before his death in 2015. "A Time and A Place: the Photographs of Sonny Brown from the University Archives and Special Collections" was curated by former USI art faculty member Kristen Wilkins, who will present a free public lecture on the exhibit.
