Keep Evansville Beautiful will host a free workshop of planting and caring for trees. The program, which runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. will be held at North Park Lbrary. City Arborist Shawn Dickerson and Purdue Extension Horticulture Educator Larry Caplan will cover the following topics: Right Tree, Right Place, Planting Trees Properly, Pruning Trees Properly, Pruning Trees, Emerald Ash Boerer and other Tree Pests, and Mulch Madness.
