The University of Southern Indiana is donating a large, permanent sculpture installation to the Haynie’s Corner Arts District as part of the fourth annual Sculpt EVV Community Art and Music Festival, a partnership with the City of Evansville. The sculpture, by artist Scott Ross, will be installed on Parrot Street near the Bokeh Lounge over the next few days. The most visually-interesting portion of the installation will be June 3. The piece is called "The Gateway" and is made of steel and weighs 3,200 pounds.
