USI Basketball DI Opening Weekend

The women’s and men’s basketball teams face off in their first games as Division I athletes starting with the women’s game against Western Illinois University at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11, followed by the men’s team’s match against Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, at 3 p.m. on Nov. 13. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children aged three to 17. Last week, USI announced a pilot program offering the sale of beer in public areas of the arena during basketball games.
