Out and About
Although it is our goal as a city magazine to localize our stories to the Evansville community, it is still fun to occasionally get away and experience new cultures. In our story, “There Must Be Something in the Water,” we took readers through the healing mineral waters and blooming gardens in Hot Springs, Ark., and then on a historical tour through an Indiana town’s main attractions in “Reward Yourself with a Stay in Columbus, Ind.” Here is National Geographic’s take on the best places to travel in 2012.
Stay Cool, Evansville
In our feature this issue, Evansville Living presents our annual Best of Evansville awards, celebrating 43 of our city’s finest hot spots, eateries, and community superstars. Presenting annual awards, however, isn’t unique to our publication. It is a trend that has gone mainstream with many news outlets.
