Innovate Southwest Indiana

Formerly known as Engage Indiana, this forum connects business leaders, educators, and more to discuss regional innovation, workforce development, and entrepreneurship. This year’s panelists include Evansville Regional Economic Partnership CEO Lloyd Winnecke, Old National Bank CEO Jim Ryan, Ivy Tech Community College Evansville Chancellor Daniella Vidal, Southwest Indiana Workforce Development Executive Director Sara Worstell, Curvo Labs CEO and Co-Founder Andy Perry, and Anu Co-founder and CTO Ivan Ball. The event is open to the public. Tickets start at $75.

Entrepreneurship Expo
11 a.m.-1 p.m. May 1, Ivy Tech Community College Evansville Koch Student Center Room 152, 3501 N. First Ave.
Survey the startup ventures of students from Ivy Tech’s Garatoni School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, as well as high schoolers from New Tech Institute’s Entrepreneurship Academy. Stick around for the results of a pitch contest. La Plaza, JB’s Barnyard, and Prime Time on Wheels food trucks also will be on hand for lunch.

E-REP Open Golf Outing
10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 5, Evansville Country Club, 3810 Stringtown Road
Enjoy a day on the links while connecting with business and community leaders at this annual event organized by Evansville Regional Economic Partnership. The 19th Hole Reception includes an end-of-day awards celebration and social hour with drinks and appetizers.
