Last February, Expressway Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram expanded its offerings to the Tri-State by opening a new service center on the East Side of Evansville along Virginia Street.
Brian Dillon, service director, says the decision to build the new service center came from a need for more space to better fulfill customers’ needs. The former service center now functions as the current dealership on Indiana Street.
The staff serves about 75 vehicles per day, and the new center offers customers everything their vehicles may need, says Dillon. Services include fixing transmissions, engine problems, alignments, tune-ups, and any other maintenance needs with the latest technology in alignment machines and lifts now used. The service center specializes in Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep cars, trucks, and vans.
The staff also is able to offer more tires, wheels, and accessories as well as branch out into other areas to better serve their customers.
“We supplied all the work stations, and usually the technicians have to supply their own tool box,” says Dillon. “They’ve never had anything like that. It’s really cool.”
New 14-foot technician stations feature computers with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, Internet, and USB ports connected to the bench.
“We wanted to be the one place our customers came to instead of having to go to different places for everything,” says Dillon. “We wanted to provide everything in a fast, comfortable environment.”
