This year, Super Bowl Sunday just won’t be the same. A limited number of fans will be at the stadium along will a limited number of friends and family at your Super Bowl party. You might not be able to share your signature Buffalo Chicken Dip or Pigs in a Blanket with party guests, but you can still enjoy the big game by grabbing food from these local restaurants. Celebrate the nation’s biggest sporting event as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with barbecue from Bandana’s Bar-B-Q and a Cuban sandwich from Siciliano Subs.
Bandana’s Bar-B-Q
Kansas City is renowned for its succulent barbecue and locally, Bandana’s Barbeque is offering up that smoky flavor. Their pork, beef, chicken, and ribs are specially prepared over a pit of select hardwoods for a signature smoked flavor. A special dry rub is applied to each of their meats before they go into the smoker for at least 11 hours. We recommend their Rib Dinner Platter, which is hand rubbed with spices before being slowly smoked over hickory logs. You should also try their tender, lean, and juicy Pork Platter, which is sure to make your mouth water.

Siciliano Subs
While Kansas City is famous for smoky barbecue, Cuban sandwiches are a staple meal of Tampa Bay. Luckily for us, one restaurant in Evansville is a hub for all kinds of sandwiches, including the renowned Cuban. Specializing in a number of deli favorites, Siciliano Subs is back open for business and ready to tackle your sandwich needs. Stuffed with ham, roasted pork, swiss cheese, pickles, and yellow mustard, the Cuban sandwich is the perfect meal for gameday. Though they are not officially open unitl Feb. 16, you can still pick up one of their signature charcuterie boards!
