2010 Evansville Living Downtown Idea Home

September 17-26, 2010

In a special year, the city's most innovatively designed home comes Downtown in a collaboration with the City of Evansville, the Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana, and the Junior League of Evansville. The project aims to rehabilitate a dilapidated home in a once-prosperous part of town now back on the rise. The grand Colonial Revival home will open to the public at a garden party on Sept. 17, and the following week, volunteers will lead public tours.

Allure, An Evening for Women

Enjoy an indulgently elegant evening devoted to all things that make you look and feel better as a woman. The focus is on health and beauty, inside and out, and attendees can mingle with vendors, sip cocktails, watch style shows, and learn about top-notch products and services available in the Tri-State. Proceeds benefit a local charity. 6-9:30 p.m.
