Unorthodox tastes reign at Exotic Snack Guys

There’s nothing subtle about Exotic Snack Guys’ inventory. Whether you’re searching for nacho cheese dill pickles or gummies shaped like giant bacon and eggs, the national chain’s Eastland Mall shop is stocked with craveable, and at times head-scratching, snacks. Here are four to try.

KFC Candy Combo Meal, $9.99
We bet gummy versions of the Colonel’s fried chicken, fries, biscuits, and even mac and cheese were not on your candy bingo card. Our only dislike: The candies are fruit-flavored, denying us the chance to say, “It tastes just like chicken!”

Beer-Flavored Lay’s, $9.99
Craving a salty, malty treat on the go? These alcohol-free potato chips are your fix. Exotic Snack Guys stocks more than two dozen flavors, including spicy crayfish, cucumber, wasabi, Heinz ketchup, and salted egg.

Mr Simms Black Death Ultra Sours, $14.99
“Not for the faint hearted.” With names like Black Death and Bubonic Berry, we believe it! Use the Simms Sour Scale to gauge how much each hard-boiled sweet feels like a slap in the face.

Fruit-Filled Oreos, $19.99
These chocolate sandwich cookies offer sweet cream centers in matcha, blueberry raspberry, crystal grape peach, and white peach oolong.
