Longfellow BBQ & BARR, 830 LST Drive, is now open next to the LST Memorial 325. It serves fresh barbecue everyday along with pizza, burgers, and an appetizer menu. The Schnitzelbank has opened a new restaurant/brewery called The Schnitz Brewery & Pub in the lower level of the KlubHaus 61 building, 2031 Newton St., Jasper, IN. The pub features beer, wine, a full bar, and an original menu of appetizers, burgers, and an old Jasper pizza recipe. The Enigma Bar & Grill recently opened in Newburgh, Indiana, at 4044 Professional Lane. Advertised as a tequila bar, Enigma features appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and various entrees. A new restaurant has opened in Boonville, Indiana, called American Diner, 520 W. Main St. The menu includes breakfast foods, grilled cheese, pastas, fried chicken, hamburgers, and steaks. La Campirana has opened in Washington Square Mall, 1212 Washington Square. The Mexican grill and juice bar serves quesadillas, gorditas, tacos, sopes, and tortas. Haynie’s Corner Pub, 1114 Parrett St., is now open in Haynie’s Corner Arts District in Downtown Evansville. The “nano pub” will feature three to four mainstay brews, as well as other locally produced beers on tap, wine, and sandwich baskets. Tom + Chee has opened its Evansville location at 2121 N. Green River Road. The new restaurant is the 36th in the chain of 36 restaurants, and managers look to open other spots in Evansville and Owensboro, Kentucky, in the coming years. The menu includes specialty grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, as well as a grilled cheese doughnut. The Evansville location also has a beer menu, featuring local brewery Carson’s. Raffi Manna, former owner of Raffi’s, which closed in 2014, has opened a new restaurant, Oasis Café, 5702 E. Virginia St. It is a Mediterranean grill with dishes such as shawarma dinners, kabobs, hummus, gyros, and more.

Chino Taco has joined the growing number of food trucks serving Evansville. The food truck’s menu includes several Chinese take-out options. Plans are in place to build a 10,800-square-foot restaurant called Breakaway Pub and Sports Bar, 106 S. Bosse Ave., next to the West Side Aldi’s grocery store. J’s Sports Bar and Grill will occupy the space of Ginny’s Place that once stood at the corner of Vann and Covert avenues, but there is no word yet on an opening date. Bonefish Grill, 6401 E. Lloyd Expressway, has unveiled its newly renovated restaurant. The new contemporary interior design blends earthy tones, golden hardwood accents, and embellished wood flooring. Bonefish also has introduced a new Hooked on Tuesday menu where diners can choose three courses starting at $14.90. The Hornet’s Nest Restaurant and Bar, 11845 Petersburg Road, has increased its craft beer selection to 20 beers on tap. There also will be seasonal draft rotations from several different breweries. Ninki Japanese Bistro will soon open a Newburgh, Indiana location. A new food menu has debuted at Ri Ra’s Irish Pub. Items include appetizers to share, sliders, soups and salads, burgers and sandwiches, potpies, entrees, and desserts. The restaurant also has expanded its opening hours to 8 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays for light breakfast, coffee, and broadcasts of English Premier League soccer matches. Wayback Burgers will open a second location at 624 E. Diamond Ave. Doors are expected to open by the end of October or early November. Shyler’s BBQ announced the restaurant will be open for carry-out orders starting Oct. 13. Doors should open for customers by early November. Bokeh Lounge, 1007 Parrett St., is now open for lunch seven days a week starting at 11 a.m. The lunch menu features appetizers, drink specials, salads, steak, and burgers.

American Pit Bosses, 1113 E. Riverside Drive, has closed. The Vault 329, 329 Main St., is closed. Lic’s Deli and Ice Cream’s lease elapsed at 504 N. Green River Road. Visit one of the deli’s other six locations in Evansville and Newburgh.
