Entwined Wine and Cocktail Bar has opened in Downtown Evansville at 303 Main St., offering a robust wine, beer, and cocktail list and a seasonal tapas menu. Serving Mexican favorites like quesadillas, tacos, and burritos, Ghost Quesadilla is open at 4222 Bell Road, Newburgh, IN. Poke River is now open at 6240 E.Virginia St. with a twist on the popular Hawaiian and Japanese dish of poke, like poke bowls, sushi burritos, or poke salads. Sam’s Southern Eatery has a second Evansville location of the southern fish chain at 3902 N. First Ave.

Hoosier Hamburger Co. will be opening soon in the former location of Ice Island Grill at 325 S. Green River Road. Western Ribeye and Ribs at 1401 N. Boeke Road is for sale after continuing operation in Evansville for 45 years. Two new locations of Popeyes are coming to the area, one at 8867 High Pointe Drive, Newburgh, IN, and another on Green River Road. After changing ownership at the end of last year, Piston’s Bar and Grill, at 2131 W. Franklin St., has rebranded as Chaser’s Bar and Grill.

Edgewater Grille has closed after its sale to new owners who will reopen the restaurant as a gastropub called The Landing. Gatrick’s BBQ has closed.
