Life on Stage

While USI’s new teaching theater won’t open until next year, the university has been sending graduates into theatrical professions for many years. Here is a short, not-in-any-way complete listing of some of the University of Southern Indiana Theatre students who have gone on to professional success (as supplied by Elliott Wasserman at USI).

Bradley Berridge: Independent sound designer. Originally from Newburgh, Indiana, Berridge graduated about 15 years ago. Since then he has worked as a sound designer and engineer for the theater program at Williams College and has designed several Northeastern productions, including work in New York City.

Jennifer Birge: Broadway stage manager, currently production manager at New York University’s public stages.

Jennifer Ahlfeld: Stage actress and designer, who has been actively working with a New York Shakespeare company.

Dan Tracy: Freelance set designer.

Erica Becker: Actress, New York City.

Anachebe Asomugha: Stage actor.

Joe Cunningham: Props designer, Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Rachel Schenk: Producer, New York City.

Brad Lock: Costume designer and professor, California State University, Fullerton.
