Market Days

Nothing else signifies the beginning to warmer weather and summer months like the start of local farmers markets with their fresh produce and local goods.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday from May 18 until Sept. 28, the Downtown Evansville Farmers Market will offer visitors local produce, fresh herbs, flowers, baked goods, candies, soaps, farm-fresh meat and eggs, wine, cheeses, kettle corn, art, and more. Located at the corner of Third, Fourth, and Bond streets, the market also offers entertainment and activities like live music, educational presentations, health screenings, wellness tips, kids’ activities, and prizes.

Farther east on the Ohio River, market goers can enjoy the Historic Newburgh Farmers Market from 8 a.m. until noon every Saturday beginning May 26 until Sept. 29 in the parking lot of the Edgewater Grille at the corner of State and Water streets. Shoppers will find local produce, meats, baked good, treats, jams, soaps, and more. The farmers market also offers entertainment from music by the local group The Honey Vines to cooking demonstrations from chef Adam Edwards.
