More than 15,000 plants will be on sale during the Southwestern Indiana Master Gardener Association’s famous annual sale. Find perennials and annuals for sun or shade, native plants, succulents, vegetables, herbs, houseplants, and more. Master gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.
Bloomin’ Zoo Plant Sale
May 6-7
Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden, 1545 Mesker Park Drive
The Mesker Park Zoo Botanics Department grows and prepares unique plants including tropical, unusual perennials, trees, shrubs, orchids, and ornamental grasses. This sale is included with zoo admission, which costs $11 for visitors 13 years and older, $10 for children ages three to 12, and free for children two and younger.
For those who want to stretch their green thumb a bit further, catch a glimpse of three gardens that will be in the Southwestern Indiana Master Gardener Association’s 11th Biennial Tour De Fleur Garden Walk in the May/June issue of Evansville Living, coming soon. The garden walk will take place from June 24-25 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. each day.
