The Catacombs and House of Lecter
Oct. 24-27, 325 Main St.
If youโ€™re looking for fear, look no further than the House of Lecter. This yearโ€™s catacombs have moved into the House from the Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse and joined forces with the Lecterโ€™s Body Snatchers. Tickets cost $25.

HaLOUween Trunk or Treat
5-8 p.m. Oct. 24, Bar Louie, 7700 Eagle Crest Blvd.
Fill up on candy doled out by area businesses. Stop by Evansville Livingโ€™s booth and take a photo with the latest issue!

Henderson Haunts
6-10 p.m. Oct. 24 and 27; 6 p.m.-midnight Oct. 25-26, Henderson Haunts, 2481 U.S. 41, Unit 180, Henderson, Kentucky
Haunted house lovers should head to this immersive attraction operating under the chilling theme โ€œReckoning: A Story of Torment.โ€ Tickets start at $20.

Newburgh Civitan Zombie Farm
7-9 p.m. Oct. 24 and 27; 7 p.m.-midnight Oct. 25-16; Newburgh Civitan Zombie Farm, 5466 Vann Road, Newburgh, Indiana
For more than 50 years, students have run this zombie farm that doubles as a fundraiser for community organizations. Full scare tickets cost $15, while non-scare guided tours are $5.

Boo at the Zoo
5-7:30 p.m. Oct. 25-26; 3-5:30 p.m. Oct. 27, Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden, 1545 Mesker Park Drive
Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden hosts live entertainment, trick-or-treating, a magic show, a nightly costume contest, and animal encounters at this fan-favorite event. Tickets for attendees over age 13 are $10, ages 3-12 cost $10, and children 2 and under can participate for free. This weekend also features a sensory-friendly event on Oct. 28 from 3 to 6 p.m.

The Rocky Horror Show
7:30 p.m. Oct. 25-26; Midnight Oct. 26, STAGEtwo at 321, 321 N. Congress Ave.
It is STAGEtwoโ€™s 10th-anniversary production of the raucous cult classic, full of horror, hilarity, and mayhem. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.

Pumpkin Carving
4-7 p.m. Oct. 25, Haynieโ€™s Corner Arts District, Second Street and Adams Avenue
This is a first-come, first-served free event โ€” 200 pumpkins are waiting to be carved. Pumpkins must be left behind to help decorate the Haynieโ€™s Corner fountain for Halloween.

Halloween Bingo Party
3-9:30 p.m. Oct. 25, Pay it Forward Local, 2227 W. Michigan St.
Play bingo and enjoy plenty of Halloween fun, free giveaways, and a costume contest. A 12-pack of regular games is $15, with $10 for an additional dozen games.

Ace Race Skele-Fun Run
9:30 a.m. Oct. 26, University of Evansville Ridgway University Center, 1800 Lincoln Ave.
Lace-up your sneakers for a 5K run or walk on UEโ€™s campus, as well as a costume contest. The registration fee is $30.

Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 26, Koch Family Childrenโ€™s Museum of Evansville, 22 S.E. Fifth St.
For the normal cMoe admission fee of $15, enjoy a day of pumpkin decorating, pumpkin experiments, face painting, fall crafts, a costume parade, and more.

Chemistry Day: Frankensteinโ€™s Lab
11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 26, Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science, 411 S.E. Riverside Drive
Whip up a batch of Halloween fun at the museumโ€™s free event with demonstrations from chemistry students from the University of Evansville, University of Southern Indiana, and Kentucky Wesleyan College. Come in costume โ€” dressing like a scientist sounds like fun!

Halloween Stroll and Trunk or Treat Car Show
11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 26, Main Street from Third Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
Hit Downtown for this celebration of Halloween and classic cars. Vehicles must register to participate, but there are no entry fees.

Two Wheels & Treats
11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 26, Evansville Harley Davidson, 4700 E. Morgan Ave.
Rev up your spooky spirits with pumpkin painting, trunk-or-treating, and a costume contest. Snacks and drinks will be provided while supplies last.

Walk Thru Boo
1-3 p.m. Oct. 26, Washington Square Mall, 5001 Washington Ave.
This free-admission event by VOICES Inc. โ€” a nonprofit protecting the rights of residents of long-term care facilities in Vanderburgh County โ€” offers trick-or-treating, photo opportunities, and more Halloween fun.

Trick or Treat on Franklin
1-4 p.m. Oct. 26, West Franklin Street
The Franklin Street Events Association invites kids of all ages and their families to load up with candy along West Franklin Street. The first 300 kids will receive reusable trick-or-treat bags.

River City Prideโ€™s Third Annual Trunk or Treat
2-5 p.m. Oct. 26, Bosse Field, 23 Don Mattingly Way
Bring your friends, family, and little monsters to trunk-or-treating at this spooky celebration of community connection and inclusivity.

DoubleTree Evansvilleโ€™s Trunk-or-Treat Event
3-6 p.m. Oct. 26, DoubleTree by Hilton Evansville Grand Ballroom, 601 Walnut St.
A spooktacular time can be had at this Downtown hotel, where vendors will provide candy and plenty of Halloween excitement.

Spooky Show Reception
5:30-7 p.m. Oct. 26, Arts Council of Southwest Indiana, 212 Main St.
Check out the Arts Councilโ€™s gallery of spooky, funny, and whimsical creations. Sauced will provide a cash bar during the reception.

The Spirited History of Halloween
6-7 p.m. Oct. 26, New Harmony State Historic Site Fauntleroy House 411 W. St., New Harmony, Indiana
On this โ€œspiritedโ€ evening, take a candlelit tour and learn the origins of modern Halloween traditions, including Victorian mourning practices, monsters, spirit communication, and more.

Silent Movie: Nosferatu
7-10 p.m. Oct. 26, First Presbyterian Church, 609 S.E. Second St.
This free Halloween tradition presents a silent film โ€” this yearโ€™s feature is the 1922 horror classic โ€œNosferatuโ€ โ€” set to organ music played by the churchโ€™s music director, Robert Nicholls. For $20, arrive early for a homemade soup dinner and screening of Buster Keaton’s 1921 short comedy “The Haunted House.”

Hockey Horrors Nights
7 p.m. Oct. 26, Ford Center, One S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Thunderbolts players sport glow-in-the-dark jerseys as they face off with the Huntsville Havoc from Alabama. Jerseys will be auctioned after the game.

Howl-o-ween Puptacular
11 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 27, Canine Aquatic Center, 6215 E. Florida St., Ste. B
Dogs can enjoy Halloween too, and this event features trunk-or-treat for both children and dogs, plus a dog kissing booth, nail trimming, food trucks, and more.
