Wine Walk

Despite the brick renovation roadworks project on Main Street, Downtown is still open for business. Enjoy an evening of wines exclusively from Oliver Winery — including Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Apple Pie, Berry Blend, Melon Mint Moscato, and Sweet Red — a mechanical bull, shopping, live music, and more. Admission is $25 per person.

Secret Harmony House Concert
7-9 p.m. Aug. 25, New Harmony, Indiana
Homes in New Harmony host new-to-you artists playing original music and curated covers. Admission is $20 per person, and registration is required.

E’ville Iron Frog Follies Street Rod Show
Aug. 25-27, Vanderburgh County 4-H Center, 201 E. Boonville-New Harmony Road, Darmstadt, Indiana
Thousands of street rods line up at this annual event that features auto-parts vendors and regional artisans and crafters. Frog Follies proceeds support multiple local nonprofits.

Historic Newburgh Chalk Walk and Farmers Market Closing Day

For the final day of the 2023 Historic Newburgh Famers Market, the Riverfront Trail transforms into a community-led chalk art masterpiece.

Franklin Street Bazaar Closing Day

The Castle High School Marching Knights will perform their 2023 production, “Echo,” after a jazz ensemble concert.

2023 STAGEtwo Summer Playwriting Workshop Staged Readings
7-9 p.m. Aug. 26, STAGEtwo at 321, 321 N. Congress Ave.
Playwrights read their scripts to a live audience, which then votes for its favorites. The top vote-getter will be incorporated into STAGEtwo’s next season. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

Cornhole Tourney
Noon Aug. 27, Chasers Bar & Grill, 2131 W. Franklin St.
The National Association of Letter Carriers hosts this tournament and silent auction benefiting two Evansville nonprofits, Young & Established and It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue. The entry fee is $10.
