The Evansville African American Museum continues its celebration of Kwanzaa with events today at 2 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church and Saturday at 2 p.m. at the museum. Each event this week recognizes a different principle of the holiday.

Merrymint is throwing a year-end party for Swifties in the Tri-State. For $25, guests can enjoy photo ops, “Eras”-themed drinks, food from La Campirana, a “best dressed” contest at 11 p.m., and lots of Taylor Swift tunes.

“Great Gatsby” New Year’s Eve

Head to Henderson for a “Great Gatsby”-style New Year’s Eve celebration. Local band Soul N the Pocket kicks things off at 9 p.m., and Hometown Roots will offer attendees dinner specials and a champagne toast at midnight.
