Penny Lane Coffeehouse has opened its third location inside Lamasco Bar and Grill, 1331 W. Franklin St. Big Bang Mongolian Grill has opened at 2013 N. Green River Road. The restaurant is an open-bar Mongolian grill stir-fry with lunch and dinner options. After a few setbacks, Shyler’s Barbecue has opened in its new location at the Village Commons, 5416 E. Indiana St. The restaurant will serve the same barbecue recipe Tri-State restaurant-goers remember, along with featuring a large selection of craft beers. Mission BBQ is now open at 1530 N. Green River Road. The menu features barbecued brisket, pulled pork, turkey, chicken, and sausage, along with sandwiches, made-from-scratch sides, and catering packs. Pangea Kitchen, 111 S. Green River Road, Ste. E, has opened. An eat-in kitchen style restaurant, Pangea will offer mostly Italian and Asian food, and gelato. Along with eating options, guests also can shop for several different types of homemade noodles, and imported sauces and cheeses. Barber Bistro Coffee, 105 N. Green River Road, is now open and offers a unique combination of coffee and the art of barbering.

Evansville may add a second McAlister’s Deli on the West Side. No exact location has been confirmed but the restaurant — which has an East Side location at 2220 N. Green River Road — has confirmed the new spot will be open in June. Teppanyaki Grill, 201 N. Green River Road, has changed ownership and its name to Hokkaido Japanese Buffet. The restaurant will offer lunch and dinner buffet options with Chinese, Japanese, and American cuisine selections. Grandy’s, 2005 U.S. Highway 41, Henderson, KY, has completed its renovations on the building. The restaurant now features a brighter interior and exterior design, which is part of a comprehensive brand transformation. Ruby Moon Vineyard & Winery, 9566 U.S. Highway 41, Henderson, KY, announced it will close after nearly 10 years on April 30.
