The Kentucky-based pizza and wing joint, Mister B’s, has opened an Evansville location at 1340 Hirschland Road. Sugar Fix has added something sweet to the area with a candy shop located at 300 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN. Henderson Juice Co., 13 S. Main St., Henderson, KY, is now open and serving fresh juices, smoothies, breakfast items, soups, and wraps. Tacoholics Express has opened another Henderson location at 2630 Highway 41 N., Henderson, KY. North Main Annex Gourmet Catering and Deli, 701 N. Main St., has opened in the former location of Daily’s Annex Bakery and offers a daily rotating menu of baked goods, soups, salads, and other specials. Drake’s has opened a location in Owensboro, Kentucky, at 3050 Highland Pointe Drive with an Evansville location planned to open in The Promenade on the East Side serving a menu of beer, burgers, sandwiches, and sushi. Poké Pirate, 315 E. Diamond Ave., has opened in the former location of Charlie’s Café with signature bowls and build-your-own poke.

Honey Moon Coffee Co. recently announced a third location in the former home of Planters Café and Coffee Bar at 1211 Tutor Lane that plans to open later this year. Plans are underway for a new fish, chicken, and gyro restaurant called Journey at 825 S. Green River Road that is expected to open later this year. A new poke restaurant, Poke River, will open soon at 6240 E. Virginia St., Ste. C. Piston’s Bar & Grill was recently sold to new owners by previous owner Jason English, though it is unknown who the new owners are or what they have planned for the space. Chef Adam Edwards has teamed up with The Refinery, 224 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN, to provide plant-based breakfast and lunch options. Carnival Café is coming to Owensboro, Kentucky, serving up festival foods like deep-fried Oreos, corn dogs, soft pretzels, funnel cakes, burgers, and more. Both KC’s Marina Pointe and Tiki Time Bar & Grill have closed for the season. Maidens Brewery and Pub, 209 N. Wabash Ave., announced a name change for the restaurant, which now is called Damsel Brew and Pub.

Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, 3911 Venetian Drive, Newburgh, IN, has closed. Spudz-N-Stuff’s First Avenue location, 3904 N. First Ave., is closed. Tipico, 4313 E. Morgan Ave., has closed.
