Dueling Pianos Fundraiser for Keep Evansville Beautiful

Help support Keep Evansville Beautiful with a night of music. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. to cocktails, followed by dinner. Guests can also enjoy live and silent auctions with proceeds benefitting Evansville’s clean-up and beautification efforts.

Second Annual Sock Hop

Dance the night away for cancer research. The Hudson & Reed Foundation is hosting its second annual sock hop to benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Centre in Australia. (The “Grease” actress and singer is herself a breast cancer survivor.) The night will include a dance contest through midnight, as well as cheeseburgers, coney dogs, fries, malts, and a cash bar. Guests can enjoy a 50/50 half pot raffle, with funds raised.

40th Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake
6-8 p.m. April 6; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. April 9

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana is kicking off the 40th year of its longstanding commitment to children in the community through its annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser. Participants can register online and curate teams of six to compete. A photo booth will be set up for teams to take pictures, and each entrant has a chance to win prizes through the purchase of raffle tickets. Big Brothers Big Sisters is asking participants to raise $30 to bowl in a two-hour session, or donate $50 for bowling, a T-shirt, and sunglasses.
