Public Pools
The City of Evansville operates three municipal pools for public use. A fourth pool next to Helfrich Golf Course is closed for 2026.
Lorraine Pool

Open May 30-Aug. 9: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and noon-5 p.m. Sundays
Admission: $2 for over 13 years; $1 for ages 4-12; and free for kids under age 3
This Southeast Side pool makes a splash on Friday nights, when families of two adults and four children can swim for $5. Lorraine Pool hosts two-week sessions of swim lessons Tuesdays-Fridays.
Mosby Pool

Admission: $2 for over 13 years; $1 for ages 4-12; and free for kids under age 3

Rochelle-Landers Pool

The East Side pool in the historic Baptisttown neighborhood also is available for swim lessons and private event rentals.

Burdette Park Aquatic Center

Single-day admission: $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and kids ages 3-11, and free for children 2 years and younger
This county-owned property boasts an Olympic pool, family pool, and kids’ pool, plus two diving boards, three waterslides, an interactive spray park, two concession stands, and a float stand.
Deaconess Aquatic Center

Open daily: 5 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 5 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays, 6 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays, and 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays
Single-day admission: $6
The state-of-the-art competition pools host swimming and diving meets, while swim lessons take place in the recreation pool. The outdoor splash pad is open through Aug. 8.
Tepe Park Splash Pad

Open daily May-October: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

This outdoor addition is new to the Fourth Ward park, which frequently hosts community events and just launched a monthly evening market.
Newburgh Splash Pad and Playground

Free admission
Enjoy the park’s new playground equipment and splash pad, as well as its multi-sport courts and community building with rentable event space.
Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari
