With barbecue, bourbon, wine, and fries fundraisers on the menu this weekend, you’ll be well-fed as the calendar closes on February.

Fun Home

University of Southern Indiana’s Performance Center, 8600 University Blvd.
After the unexpected death of her father, Alison Bechdel crafted an autobiographical graphic novel about exploring her relationship with her father and coming to terms with her sexuality. General admission tickets are $15.

The Moors
7:30 p.m. Feb. 23-25; 2 p.m. Feb. 25-26
University of Evansville’s May Studio Theatre in Hyde Hall, 1800 Lincoln Ave.
This student-directed play is a new take on Gothic romance, bending the rules of genre to defy tradition and expectation in this dark comedy. General admission tickets are $12. 

Wine and Fries

This fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley includes food, music, dancing, a silent auction, a wine pull, and McDonald’s fries. 

BBQ & Bourbon
2-8 p.m. Feb 25
Vanderburgh 4-H Center Auditorium, 201 E. Boonville-New Harmony Road
Learn the best of barbecue with 78-time grand champion pit master Jim Johnson. Cook school is 2-5 p.m., and a dinner and auction follow at 6-8 p.m. Tickets start at $75, and reservations are required. Proceeds benefit Cancer Pathways Midwest.

Reggae Night
8 p.m. Feb. 25
Main Street Wedding and Event Venue, 315 N. Main St.
Listen to a night of reggae, rock, and hip-hop performed by the Columbus, Ohio, duo the Quasi Kings, Brooklyn; New York-based but Jamaica-flavored SunDub; and Dominica-raised Zion Albert. Tickets are $15. Attendees must be over 21 years of age and show ID. 

Spanish Nights
7 p.m. Feb. 25
Victory Theatre, 600 Main St.
The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra performs Spanish-influenced works, including from Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol, Jerónimo Gimenez’s La Boda de Luis Alonso, and Manuel de Falla’s Three Cornered Hat, Suite No. 2. 

Seventh Annual Black and White Ball
9 p.m. Feb. 25-2 a.m. Feb. 26
Evansville Country Club, 3810 Stringtown Road
Enjoy an evening of live DJ music, three cash bars, hors d’oeuvres, photo booths, giveaways, a silent auction, and a half pot benefiting Young & Established. 

Buddy Guy: Damn Right Farewell Tour

Bid goodbye to the 86-year-old blues legend and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee who has influenced Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
