The Tri-State plays up the region’s diverse interests this weekend, with tractor pulls, a car show, disc golf tournament, USTA Pro-Circuit tennis event, children’s comic con, and more.

Posey County Fair
July 17-22, Posey Country Fairgrounds, 111 Harmony Township Road, New Harmony
The final three days of this year’s Posey County Fair include a talent show and Mount Vernon Jazz Band performance on July 20, an indoor cornhole tournament and ITPA Pro-Series tractor pulls on July 21, and a demolition derby on July 22.

The Women’s Hospital Classic
July 17-23, Wesselman Tennis Center, 551 N. Boeke Road
This U.S. Tennis Association $60k Pro Circuit event is open to spectators and features a free one-hour Family Day clinic on July 22 and the Lic’s Strawberries and Cream Final on July 23. Read more about the classic in the July/August issue of Evansville Living.

Christmas In July with the Evansville Otters
6:35 p.m. July 21, Bosse Field, 23 Don Mattingly Way
Santa Claus makes a summer appearance at Deaconess’ Christmas in July at historic Bosse Field. Proceeds from the Otters’ game against the Empire State Greys will benefit the Santa Clothes Club, which provides new clothing for Tri-State children in need.

Disc Golf Trilogy Challenge 
4-6 p.m. July 21; 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 22, First Christian Church, 2845 Beaumont Drive
The Ace Eagle Disc Golf Club presents the Evansville chapter of the global disc golf Trilogy Challenge. Registration is $40 for the 19-hole tournament and includes three discs, a towel, and a mini marker for each participant. Winners from each division will receive a prize.

cMoe Comic Con 
10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 22, Children’s Museum of Evansville, 22 S.E. Fifth St.
Meet superheroes and Ghostbusters, learn about “Star Wars” Jedis, create your own fan art, have storytime with a princess, and more. A costume contest is scheduled for noon.

Library Day
10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 22, Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve, 551 N. Boeke Road
Take the library outdoors this Saturday. Family-friendly activities include storytime, themed crafts, guided hikes, and animal encounters. Bring your EVPL library card for free entry.

Biscuit Belly Block Party
7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. July 22, Biscuit Belly, 945 Burkhardt Road
Celebrate the breakfast chain’s second anniversary in Evansville with an all-day block party with food samples, prizes, giveaways, and more.

Mopar Outlaws Cars for a Cause 
9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 23, Fraternal Order of Police, 801 Court St.
All vehicles are welcome at the first car show for the Indiana chapter of Mopar Outlaws. Entry fee is $15, and all proceeds benefit It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue. Don’t miss out on food trucks, a half-pot drawing, and live music.

Parade of Venues
Noon-4 p.m. July 23 at Evansville Country Club, 3810 Stringtown Road; Pine & Co., 15901 Petersburg Road; 13605 Darmstadt Road; and Main Street Wedding and Event Venue, 315 N. Main St.

Registration isn’t required but helps participating venues know how many attendees to expect.
