Can you believe it’s already the first full week in March? We can’t, either! Here are a few ways to celebrate spring finally being just around the corner. And don’t forget to spring your clocks ahead an hour Saturday night!

Joe Gatto’s Night of Comedy

Comedian, television personality, actor, and producer Joe Gatto, known for “Impractical Jokers” and “The Misery Index” and as a founder of “The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe,” comes to Evansville for a night of laughs.

Adult Artist Retreat

Connect with other artists to discuss all things your craft while you work. Bring your own supplies and lunch to this artists’ networking event, and reserve your spot for $12. 

Mesmerica

Come on a visual music journey that brings together the music of James Hood, a Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist, with 3D animated art by visualists from around the world. The result is an experience that transcends time and stimulates the senses. Tickets start at $12.

A Taste of History: The Price of Progress

University of Evansville Ridgway University Center, 1800 Lincoln Ave.
Guests will feast on a soul food dinner before a dramatic presentation by Vernon A. Williams of “The Price of Progress,” the story of 80 years of Black history on Indiana Avenue in Indianapolis. Tickets start at $45.

Evansville Horror Con
10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mar. 11; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mar. 12
Evansville National Guard Armory, 3300 E. Division St.
Play D&D and paint miniatures, participate in a Mortal Kombat tournament, learn how to create special effects makeup, meet exotic animals, and more. Single-day passes start at $20.
