Korn Ferry Tour Championship

See the finale of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, presented by United Leasing & Finance, as it concludes during this weekend at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana. High-profile golfers will be out at Victoria for this annual tournament, which is a combination of the 2020 and 2021 Korn Ferry Tour seasons.
Front Porch Fest 2021

Haynie’s Corner Arts District
Enjoy live music for free in an informal setting at this popular annual event. The front porches of historic homes in Haynie’s Corner serve as stages for area bands to perform, with guests welcome to wander from stage to stage and indulge in a beer garden and local fare served up by attending food trucks. Musicians will play in two set times — 3-5:30 p.m. and 5:30-8 p.m. — and an after-party from 8-11 p.m. near the Haynie’s Corner fountain will feature the Hannah Evelyn Trio and Corduroy Orbison.
2021 Newburgh Fireworks & Evening in the Park

Rounding out the season, this summer social-type event will include games, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks show. Parking will be available at the Newburgh Rivertown Trailhead, St. John’s Church, Mother Theresa’s Treasures, Titzer Family Funeral Home, downtown Newburgh public parking lots, and any legal street parking in the area. No shuttle buses will be running.
DC Young Fly and Friends Comedy Show

John Whitfield, better known as DC Young Fly, brings his comedy show to the Victory Theatre this weekend. The internet personality, comedian, actor, host, rapper, and singer-songwriter is best known for his “roasting sessions” videos on Instagram. Expect an interactive show featuring DC Young Fly’s comedian friends.
Labor Day Run
Sept. 6
Lamasco Park, corner of West Iowa Street and North Seventh Avenue
Lace up your sneakers for a Labor Day road race at Lamasco Park. Choose between a 5K run and/or walk, 10K run and/or walk, or fun run for kids. Registration ends Sunday, Sept. 5 at 11:59 p.m.
