The Addams Family’

Area high school students stage this production of the odder-than-odd family for the 35th EVSC Foundation summer musical. Tickets start at $10.

Jeannie Worley: Pieces of Yesterday Opening Reception
5-8 p.m. July 14
The Rumjahn Gallery and Framery, 5901 Vogel Road
This solo exhibition features pieces by collage artist Jeannie Worley through Aug. 11. The opening reception includes wine, beer, and hors d’oeuvres.

Rummage Sales benefiting School Bands
8 a.m.-2 p.m. July 15; 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. July 15
William Henry Harrison High School parking lot, 211 Fielding Road; Castle High School, 3344 Hwy. 261, Newburgh, Indiana
Peruse food trucks along with used and unwanted items. Proceeds benefit the Harrison Instrumental Music Boosters and Castle Bands fundraising for Castle’s trip to the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.

City Swim Meet
9 a.m. July 15-16
Deaconess Aquatic Center, 24 Don Mattingly Way
The city swim meet shows off a wide range of ages and abilities in local swimmers, who have to participate in two regular meets to qualify for the City. Preliminary races kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by finals at 9 a.m. Sunday. Spectators are welcome to attend. Overflow parking is available at Bosse Field.

Franklin Street Bazaar Kids Day

Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library West Branch, 2000 W. Franklin St.
This week’s kids-centric entertainment includes live performances including Indiana Bellydance Collective and musician Tony Henning, a yoga session, and a cooking demonstration on Franklin Street.

Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Play Date
10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 15
Blue Grass Church, 14240 Petersburg Road
Families with hard-of-hearing and deaf children can meet and greet during this free event hosted to share experiences and make friends.

Community Day at the Audubon Museum & Nature Center
10 a.m.-5 p.m. July 15
John James Audubon State Park Museum, 3100 U.S. Hwy. 41 N., Henderson, Kentucky
The Audubon Museum and Nature Center celebrates its 85th anniversary with a show-and-tell at 2 p.m., plus free entry to the museum for the entire day.

The Summer Wine Series: Oliver Winery

Sample Oliver Winery’s Melon Mint Moscato, Berry Blend, Shiraz Reserve, and Apple Pie while listening to live music and engaging with a guided tasting tour, educational presentation, and question-and-answer session. Tickets start at $99.

Tanks: Panthers, Tigers, and Shermans
1-3 p.m. July 16
Newburgh Museum, 503 State St., Newburgh, Indiana
Kevin Reid of the Evansville Wartime Museum will discuss World War II German tanks, Panthers and Tigers, and the Allies’ tank answer, the Sherman.
